An Angel: AtF Film?

Pissed about that upcoming Buffy film that is going to go against Joss's vision? Love Angel: After the Fall or the Buffyverse in general? Ever wondered if you'd see a live action version of all those memorable characters, from Angel to Gunn to Connor to Gwen, ever again?

Well, then you might want to check this out.

Review for Buffy #28 on Wednesday!

Aw, no Illyria, Cordy, Spike, or Wesley? :P

Spike or Wes might show up in the viral footage we use for promos. But for the actual film, the story was just too much about *NOSPOILERS* to warrant an appearance from any of those characters. You'll see.

Plus, it's crazy hard to create a focused story with a huge cast. Brian Lynch had seventeen issues for "After the Fall," thus the great use of a huge cast, but we only have 10 minutes and 59 seconds! (Definitely longer for the director's cut, but still!)

I'd love Joss to make a real movie based on Spike/Angel: After The Fall comic books with Spike, Angel, Illyria, Wesley, Cordy, Gunn, Connor, but with original cast... I'm dying to see James Marsters, David Boreanaz, Amy Acker and the others on Angel (or Spike) movie created by Joss Whedon and Brian Lynch.
It would be GREAT... (sigh)

Who dosen't want that?

But since that ain't coming, just enjoy the comics! And hopefully enjoy my film. I think you will.

Patrick, I'm looking forward your Angel movie ;)) It looks like fun! ;)) I miss this show so badly and you can see, me and my friends on B-tube make fan videos of it, discus the characters, read the comic books and write own fan-fics. And I'm pissed about that upcoming Buffy film! So I wish luck to your movie!:) And don't forget to add Spike and Illyria in! ;))

I can't wait for you to see it. No Illyria or Spike, though. They don't make sense for the kinda story we're telling.

Spike will most likely pop up in the viral promotion stuff, though. We've got a Spike actor, for sure. Illyria, probably not.
